Constella Ballet & Orchestra
The Constella Orchestra was founded in 2011 by the composer/conductor Leo Geyer and oboist Henry Clay. The orchestra quickly gathered pace and prestige, bringing together some of the finest young musicians from across the country in critically acclaimed performances across London. Notable events included a concert at the World Event Young Artist Festival, Beethoven’s violin concerto with internationally acclaimed soloist Simon Standage and a production of The Mermaid of Zennor at the Tête à Tête Opera Festival.
In 2013, the company expanded to become Constella Ballet & Orchestra. Their first production was Stravinsky's Soldier's Tale for the International Youth Arts Festival. Upcoming productions include performances at King's Place, Sadler's Wells, The Bloomsbury Theatre and even Waterloo Station!
